ART

Here is my project that I finished today. Ann, the Art Director from The Valley Art Center asked me to make some bottlecap pins with part of their logo to give out at their Christmas party tonight. I made 20 of them total; 9 for men and 11 for women. I made the ones for the ladies with fiber and bead dangles. I had so much fun making these. My son painted the background, I really think he is going to be my little artist!

Morning Moon

I'm no "Photohale" from the Cleveland Handmade team, but I thought this was such a cool shot of the moon from my office window this morning. I just love the eerie look with the bare branches and the brightness of the moon. Click on the image to see it larger to get the full effect.

Class at Bead Paradise

I taught a BronzClay class this past Saturday at Bead Paradise. The top pendant is by Kyle. This is the first class she has taken from me. The bottom one is Lauren's. She has now taken 2 classes from me. Aren't they both fabulous?! Just love the colors that come out of that kiln!

Gramma Alice & the Cows...

Aiden in a picture from a while back while visiting - he loves the barn. They just got a donkey to help train the calves. Guess what his name is.....Jack, go figure - will have to get a pic of him next time!

We went to NY today to visit Lance's mom and stepfather at their cattle farm about an hour south of Buffalo. We wanted to have dinner with them since his mom turned 70 this week. She is quite a lady to take care of all those cattle, her husband is partially paralyzed from polio, so, she pretty much does it all. Nice shot, ey?!

Stackable PMC Ring Class

Yesterday I taught the PMC Stackable Ring with Resin class at Bead Paradise. It was a gully washer on the drive there, the highway had alot of standing water on it. Glad I left early to get there on time.

The class only had one student, Lauren, but it was such an enjoyable day. Her rings turned out really good for only having a couple classes beforehand. I was really impressed.

I'll be teaching Intro to BronzClay at Bead Paradise in October.
